Following the remodelling of Watts Gallery, ZMMA was appointed to transform and restore the studios of the Victorian artists G F and Mary Watts in Compton, Surrey. The NLHF supported project provides public access to their historic workspaces, recreating G F Watts’ studio, providing new galleries for Mary’s design work and new learning and craft studios and an art conservation workshop.
This second phase of development included new parking and the creation of accessible routes between Watts Gallery and Watts Studios through a woodland walk.
