This NLHF supported project comprises Exhibition and Interpretation Design for Orleans House, Twickenham, and focuses on preserving and making accessible the House’s significant heritage assets, from interpreting the Grade 1 listed James Gibbs’ Baroque Octagon building and its landscape, to the London Borough of Richmond’s Art collection – a richly eclectic mix of art and artefacts.
Our design presents and explains the complex history of Orleans House, its context within this reach of the River Thames, and the significant characters, villas and houses which featured, through landscape interpretation, interactive models and trail material.
